New upcoming Period Dramas I'm excited (or not excited) to see

Okay. First and foremost, I must squeal about THE CROWN. It's the kind of title that screams capital letters and majesticality and royalty and just shivers because it looks so epic. If you haven't heard about the Crown yet, well GET EXCITED. If you have heard about it (which probably you have because it is news of phenomenal dimension and the whole world is excited!) then get even MORE excited because this is going to be the most amazing miniseries ever.

Claire Foy as Elisabeth, QUEEN Elisabeth of The United Kingdom?! Yes yes yes. 1940's and 1950's costumes and Prince Philip and Royal family insights and Princess Margaret's hats and just... I AM SO EXCITED. Even people who aren't much into the royal families of Britain (such as my American truck-lovin' bean) are bound to get excited about this because the story and the movie quality just looks unbeatable. The costumes are to DIE for and the endless familiar faces (Bertie from Downton Abbey! Fanny from S&S! On and on goes the list) are just... gah, it's going to be SUPER good.

AND THE TRAILER. I DARE YOU NOT TO GET CHILLS:

SECONDLY GUESS WHAT.

THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE A MOVIE OF THE GUERNSEY LITERARY POTATOE PEEL PIE SOCIETY.

I will calm down. I will come down. I will explain the reason behind this wacky future-movie title. You see, people who have not had the fortune of reading 'The Guernsey Literary Potatoe Peel Pie Society' (The abbreviation I use is The Guernsey Book), 'The Guernsey Literary Potatoe Peel Pie Society' is one of my favouritest books. (Yes, I copied and pasted the long title.) It's filled with bookish people with quirky traits and adorable ideas and it just PLAIN good I LOVE the book so much. And then I heard there'll be a movie!!!! LILY JAMES WILL PLAY THE MAIN CHARACTER. I have high hopes!

There are no trailers or anything (they haven't even started to film so it'll be bound to take a while) but I am not making a joke, how dare you suggest I'd possess such wickedness to do such a thing! Here is the article.

And because there aren't any pictures of that yet, and loads of absolutely ridiculously gorgeous ones of The Crown, here's another picture or two (or three) (because... excitement reasons) of The Crown. You are welcome.

... okay, I'll stop. ;-P You get the point. I am excited about this miniseries. I will bear the sad fact of not being able to see it as soon as possible (the 4th of November) because we do not have a Netflix account running and living in this house. I will be patient. Ish. BUT I WILL SEE IT. And hopefully SOON, because I CAN'T WAIT.

Waiting for movies is a trial.

Here are two more films I'm really excited about (especially the first one):

(Honestly, I get so so many chills every time I watch this trailer. Goosebumps everywhere. I need to see this. Where can I find a dvd.) (Alicia Vinkader and Michael Fassbender and the ocean and babies? YES PLEASE. I'm in the audience.)

(This movie will make me cry.) (Also, it's a true story.) (Also, Rosamund Pike + 50's fashion = YES.)

Now you may be wondering. Why the 'not excited' bit between brackets in the title?! All the movies you've mentioned in this post are ones you seem to be hopping to see. True, but I ain't done yet. BECAUSE OH WOE, THEY ARE MAKING ANOTHER ANNE OF GREEN GABLES MOVIE. I'm not talking about the new one they made. YET ANOTHER one. What's so wrong with the good old original Megan Fellowes Anne movie, guys?! That's the best we can get and no new AoGG movie will beat it. FOCUS ON A RILLA MOVIE.

First we had the good Anne movie. Megan Fellowes. Jonathan Crombie. We all know it. We've (hopefully) all seen it. We have good opinions on it and some of us love it to bits, even more than the books.

Then this thing came, and it was sorta fun and sorta cool. I was excited at first. Then I watched the trailer and decided it was a bit of a joke. Sorry. I'm not doing the nine-year-old Gilbert. And seriously, no AoGG movie will shine with the 'real' version already there.

But no... Netflix was like, 'WE need our own, proper Anne of Green Gables, so therefore we will make one. It'll be easy. We take some things from that one they just made and we'll add some aspects of the original AoGG movie and bam we'll have one. And we'll make our Anne skinny.'

There ya go. I'm so excited. That was sarcastic.

(Back to 'The Crown' and 'The Guernsey' film and 'The Light Between Oceans' though. ARE YOU AS EXCITED AS I AM?!?! Are you not dyiiiing to see Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth?!?)

9/15/2015

Sooo. They're making this movie...

New Movie Alert!!!

My dear! Mr Bennet! WONDERFUL news!
Are you ready for this? T'is exciting news.

As you all know of late, I'm a huge fan of Queen Elizabeth and I'm an ENORMOUS fan of Elizabeth and Philip's love story. I talked about it in a recent post of mine, for the celebration of Queen Elizabeth being the longest reigning monarch of the United Kingdom, and all that jazz. SO.

WHEN I HEARD THEY ARE MAKING A MOVIE OF IT I SERIOUSLY FREAKED OUT. And it's going to be a 10-episode mini-series. I'm so freaking excited I can't stand it.

(*Cringes about the capital letters. Not classy, Naomi.*)

Of course, as soon as I heard, I googled it and saved all the pictures and read all the info. I'm still in such a shock and surprise, seriously! Because, after the movie A Royal Night Out, which has just gone out, I'm so surprised that BOOM, they're making another Queen Elizabeth movie! (Shows how amazing she is, I suppose.)

But then... I got some disappointments. My main disappointment is that it will be airing on Netflix, and we don't have a Netflix account in our family, sooo. I'm hoping they'll release it on DVD too, though. They MUST do that. Really.

My second disappointment is the casting of Prince Philip. Dr Who fans will be thrilled and excited to hear that it will be Matt Smith, but I don't think he looks like Prince Philip at allll and I'm a bit hesitant. And I'm prejudging. :-) It's just that Prince Philip was taller and blonder and - dare I say it? Dare I? With all the Dr Who fans around? - handsomer.

But maybe Matt Smith will surprise me. After all, make-up and dashing naval costumes do wonders. (There are no real pictures yet of Matt Smith in costumes. Only some snaps of him doodling around on set. We must all wait in anguish.)

I'm rather pleased about the casting choice of Elizabeth herself, though. It's no-one else than our own little Amy Dorrit! (Or, Claire Foy, for all you normal people out there.) Again, she doesn't look THAT much like Elizabeth, but I can see a little English resemblance.

Also, she looks absolutely gorgeous in that wedding dress replica. (And I can already see her drawing a beard on the Prince Philip picture. Awwww.)

And look! Fanny Dashwood from Sense and Sensibility is playing Queen Mary! Apart from the fact that she's obviously wearing a wig in that picture and the fact that I can't imagine her in such a sweet, darling role, I'm excited for that part of the casting!

I also read that there might be three different actresses playing Queen Elizabeth, as the 10 episodes cover several years - starting from her love-story and ending somewhere in her reign. So maybe there will be other actors playing Prince Philip too. Mmm... that might end up weird. Anyway, there isn't a lot of further detail. I won't do too much prejudging. This could well be good. I just have some doubts, that's all. :-P

Ohhh! Look! Look! The gorgeous bridesmaids dresses!!!! Yes, t'is official. I AM EXCITED. This will be brilliant. Look at the khaki-clad men. And the blue dress. I love the 40's fashion, so I'm staying tuned for a lot of costume eye-candy. I bet the wedding will be stunning to watch.

We will have to wait some time, though - it's airing on Netflix next year! So I'm no way close to getting the dvd's, aren't I? (Life is hard. Oh la la.) The mini-series is called 'The Crown' and, while I have my doubts on some apartments, I'm super pumped. :-)

Are you excited about 'The Crown'?
Did you know of this before this post?

(And no, there aren't any trailers or sneak-peaks yet. We must bear the trial of patience together.)

Long may she reign!

Today marks the day when Queen Elizabeth became the longest reigning British Monarch of All Time. This makes me very proud. I love Queen Elizabeth - she's probably my favourite Famous person ever. She's always been there (seriously, when was she not there), she so humble and, and - gaaack, I just love this lady. I have the highest respect for her.

She's been reigning for Sixty-three years. Or 23,226 days, if you prefer. JUST. Wow.

Of course, as an immensely huge, ginormous, biggest-fan-EVER fan, I know a lot about her life and about her love story (which will never make me not-squeal) and so on. So of course a dedication post is in order. Also, her fashion taste in the 40's and 50's was flawless, so some picture are in order.

And don't you love the new official photo's? (Up there.) It's so lovely with the pink dress and red mail box. I'M SO PROUD TO BE BRITISH AHHH.

Elisabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was born on the 21 of April, 1926. 1926. That's like, Downton Abbey time period. It's crazy, right. Right. Anyway, you guys all probably know this, but she wasn't intended to be the future Queen when she was born. Watch the Kings Speech, and they you'll understand. But anyway, her dad became King instead of her Uncle, and then, BAM, she was the heir to the throne.

Margaret Rose, Elizabeth's younger sister: Does this mean you're going to be the Queen one day?
Princess Elizabeth: Yes.
Margaret Rose: Poor you.

(Apparently that's a conversation they really had.)

The books and newspapers often say that the sisters had a good childhood - Corgis and Simple family pleasures were a Thing. As the new movie 'A Royal Night out' presents, the two princesses went out in London on VE day and mingled in the crowd with some of their cousins and friends. (The movie is rather fictionalised, however, and the Queen wasn't very happy with it. Apparently. Praps it's zee gossip.)

The Queen sang very well when she was a girl, and she loved animals. Horses and Corgis were her speciality. She still loves 'em. Especially the Corgis. She now has the great-grandchildren of the Corgis she had when she was a girl.

And now I'm going to squeal about her and Prince Philip. (Who, LOOK, was seriously the handsomest man in his times. A blonde naval officer. No wonder she married him.)

So, Elizabeth met Philip first when she was thirteen. They are, after all second cousins. They have a mutual great-grandma. (No-one else than our one and only Queen Victoria, the second longest reigning monarch.) Elizabeth, it has been reported, developed a crush on his (you know, the blonde hair and the blue eyes) and she started a correspondence throughout her teenage years with him.

When Philip was seen helping Elizabeth with her coat at a wedding of a cousin, the love rumours started to spread all across the UK. People were furious, because Philip had sisters who had Nazi husbands, and he was half German. You know, what with the War going on - it caused controversy. (What doesn't cause controversy. Hehh. Nowadays something always riles someone.)

Apparently, half of the UK was against the match.

This is not the taking-off-coat incident that caused the rumours. This is a gif of them as a married couple. Awww'ness.
Elizabeth didn't give up on Prince Philip. She had a picture in her room of him, and her Nanny told her she shouldn't, because people 'would talk.' So instead of throwing the picture away, she drew a beard over it so no-one would recognise him. (Seriously, true story. Cutest story ever.)

Also, her Nanny noticed that she kept on listening and relistening to 'People will say we're in Love' (the song from the musical Oklahoma, which she went to see with Prince Philip. So they say.) Isn't it cute? It's exactly the right song for Elizabeth and Philip, that song.

Then, after a lot of fuss about changing Philip's surname and his identity to a British one, they were finally Engaged. They waited a long time - they were still in love - and then they maaaaarried. (Which caused a lot of controversy again, because it was still ration-time, so if they spent too much money on the wedding, people would be Cross. Also, Philip's sisters weren't invited because they were married to Nazis. Life is complicated.)

But ANYWAY. They married. And had two children. And then two more. And look, they're STILL IN LOVE. I know, it's so cute. Awwww.
"He is someone who doesn't take easily to compliments. But he has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I and his whole family, in this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim or we shall ever know."
Elizabeth with two of her children. (These are not her two first. I'm just using the cute pictures.)
Then, very unexpectedly, while Elizabeth and her husband were away in some far country, Doing Royal Stuff, her father died. She was only twenty-five. A mother of young children, and a young wife of a young naval officer.

Needless to say... yeah. Becoming a Queen is a Busy Thing.

But she did, and still continues to do, a fantastic job of it. She had hardships, as most monarchs have - her children had some rummy marriage businesses, then there was the whole Diana-death crisis (you know, when people blamed her for it. I mean, whaaat.) And so on. But she always went through with dignity and whatnot. Always looked good. Always the same hairstyle.

Being a Queen can't be easy. But she's so good, she makes it look easy. (Also, she has the sassiest eye twinkle, ever.)

Some things I like about the Queen.

1. Her husband calls her 'Sausage.' (My father calls all his children 'sausage' too, so I know what it feels like to be called 'Sausage.' Haha.)
2. She makes such good Christmas speeches.
3. The Queen is very witty.
4. I love This conversation between her and... some other important person. They are talking about her diary.
Elizabeth: My diary is not as detailed as Queen Victoria's.
Man: But it is written in your own hand.
Elizabeth: Oh yes. (after a while) I can't write in any other!
5. That she wrote in one of her letters to her parents as a newlywed, 'Philip is an angel - he is so kind and thoughtful.' I just find them the cutest couple EVER.
6. Her nickname. 'Lilibet.'
7. That she went to work in the army.
8. Her hairstyle.
9. The speech her son, Prince Charles gave in the honour of her. "Your Majesty. Mummy.' :-D
10. That Prince William and Prince Harry describe her as a 'very normal, fun grandma.' I WANT TO HAVE TEA WITH HER. :-)

Congratulations, Your Majesty on beating Queen Victoria. I love you for it. Bravo.

As we like to say, she's un-die-able.

And as the whole of London is saying, 'Long may she reign!'

Fake Trailers

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen (never forget the gentlemen.) The last few days I have started to make Period Drama fan videos, thanks to my lovely sister who said it was something typical me. (She was right, I love making these.) I like to call them Fake trailers. I've made four already, and I must say my little self is rather prodigiously proud of them.

Please grant me your honest opinions. I know I have a lot to learn yet, so do give me some advice (seriously, I can handle brutal facts.) (And a big thank you to Hamlette for telling me how to put up Youtube video's in a larger size!)

Well, what do you think? Which is your favourite? (I am the proudest of 'Testament of Youth's fake trailer, I flatter myself.) If you'd like to see more of these in the future, make sure to pop over to my Youtube channel now and then.

Have a lovely day! <3

The Kings Speech ~ Review

I've seen 'The Kings Speech' three times and it's definitely in my top-ten list. It's one of those movies that you want to watch every year. I absolutely love this movie. Not as much as P&P and Emma and Downton, but really, surprisingly close. It's made me cry and laugh... a lot. As you know, I like finding myself crying a little during movies and (especially) laugh.

The only major negative issue in this movie was the swearing. Seriously - there was too much swearing. I don't know what you think, but I'd say that, because of all the bad words, this movie would not be suitable for younger people. It's rated 12 - because of that. There's one really, exceptionally bad scene, which we skipped. We skipped two scenes, actually, because of the swearing. It's a pity, that. :(

Basically, the story is based on the real story of King George VI, the father of our current Queen Elizabeth. As he (King George) had an older brother he never expected to be king, but, because his brother married a divorced woman and abdicated, the throne was handed over to the shy, stammering Albert (crowned "George", nicknamed "Bertie"). Prince/King Albert hates making speeches, or talking in general, as he suffers greatly from speech-problems. His dear, loving wife, Elizabeth, takes him to an Australian speech therapist, Lionel Logue. Lionel and Bertie become great friends, and together they manage to find a spark of hope between a hard life. (Okay, that sounded sentimental.)

I understand some of the movie is invented, or exaggerated (isn't that always the case in movies?), but it's no way as bad as 'Becoming Jane' - and rather well done. Queen Elizabeth, the daughter of the king, watched it and said it was very moving. One thing I know they really overdid was the way the speech therapist talked to the Prince. In real life, he would have never called him Bertie and said those cheeky things he did in the movie.

But I love the way they portrayed Lionel Logue. He's my favourite character in the movie, without doubt.

See what I mean? He's hilarious and kind and just plain fun. I'm jolly glad they exaggerated him. Lionel Logue is the sort of person I wouldn't mind as a father. He speaks his mind, plays boyishly with his sons, jokes a lot, but has a soft, tender spot in his heart. And he has a very nice family. His wife, to start with, is acted by Jennifer Ehle (more about her later) and he has three boys. There aren't very many Logue-family-scenes but the few they did show were probably my favourites. Yep. I like Lionel Logue and I'm glad they portrayed him how they did. :D

Anyway, moving on.

Colin Firth did an excellent job portraying Prince Albert - an emotional, almost sweet role with occasional (ahem- lots) of angry bursts. He was brilliant. I am not a person who fangirls over actors - I fangirl over the characters they play but not over  the actors - but I un-shamefully say that, again, Colin Firth did superbly in his role. He doesn't look exactly like the real Prince Albert, but it doesn't matter. They did really well and I can't complain. At all. Colin Firth did splendidly!

I must add that I think they should have given Geoffrey Rush the Oscar thing as well as Colin Firth. I think they both did as well. Yes, I know - I really loved Geoffrey Rush in this movie. He was amazing.

Queen Elizabeth was Adorable with a capital A. She was the perfect support, help and encouragement to her husband (who needs a lot of it) and she was absolutely sweet. Plus, she wears some darling outfits - lots of furs and chic hats with netting things. I loved her- she was brilliant. This was, believe it or not, my first Helena-Bonham-Carter movie. It was funny, because I heard how she always played weird roles and Queen Elizabeth is not a weird role at all.

And plus, she resembles the real Elizabeth. A little.

Oh, and the princesses were sweet. They never seemed to grow up during the movie, which is 'longer' than we seem to realise, but for the rest Naomi does not complain. :-P Princess Margaret was hilarious, while Elizabeth was more sensible and earnest. They remind me a bit of how Elinor and Marianne Dashwood would be when they were little girls.

Haha. Their conversations were priceless. I loved the family scenes. I also really like the reactions of the princesses after their father finally does is final bit speech. Elizabeth, with a lovely serene smile: "It went better as you went on." (I can't remember her exact words, but it was something like that.) And Margaret, with an adorable serious look on her face: SPLENDID, father. Suuuweet.

Which brings me to the best bit.

The last speech. THE Kings Speech. It. Was. Epic. He does it. He finally succeeds in making a speech with the speech therapist "directing" in front of him in a little room. He talks in the microphone. Cello's dimly start to play. We see people waiting, holding their breaths, for the king to start the emotional speech announcing the Second World War. We see his wife and daughters, clasping hands, praying for all to go fine. We see the radio-people wondering why it doesn't start immediately.
Then- he starts. Hesitates at first, but he's guided by Lionel, his good friend, who stays as calm and as cool as can be. The music becomes more powerful as he strides on doing what he hates-  making speeches. We see soldiers in the rain, crowing around a radio, catching bits of the encouraging speech. We see the Queen closing her eyes and still holding her breath, the Princesses silent, other famous Brits solemn. We see Myrtle Logue (more about her later) and the Logue boys in their simple living room with the nice walls, cosily and emotionally listing to the radio. Oh... and I'm crying now. This is just too epic and too emotional. I love that last, triumphant speech. It's amazing.

So, what else to say? This movie is amazing. The scenery was good, the costumes were sweet, the interior designs were darling (especially the famous wall in Lionel Logue's room (for the ones who don't know what I'm talking about: Look at the picture at the top of this post)) the music is fantastic and it was a very "quotable" movie, which a movie should be when it can afford to :-D. As I said, there's a lot of swearing, so this movie is not for younger viewers. For those who are old enough, however, I'd definitely, definitely recommend it!

Ahem.

We're not quite done yet. I've kept the best bit for last. This bit about Jennifer Ehle. Myrtle Longue. Elizabeth Bennet. Meets. Mr Darcy.

You can watch the scene here. Please do it- because it's the best scene in the movie, after the last epic kings speech, that is.

This is how it goes:
Myrtle, who never knew her husband taught the king, suddenly comes home, and sees that the QUEEN of all people is having tea at her table. Yes, in her hat and furs. Lionel, scared, confesses to the King that he's never told his wife about them. This is good stuff, people. Love this.

Queen Elizabeth: I understand that your husband calls my husband Bertie. And my husband calls your husband Lionel. I trust you won't call me Liz?
Myrtle *aghast/shocked/does not understand*: You may call me Mrs Logue, ma'am *curtsies*
Queen Elizabeth: Very nice to meet you.
In the next room:
King George: Logue, we can't stay here all day.
Lionel *whispers*: Yes we can. Look, I need to wait for the right moment.
King George: Logue, you're being a coward.
Lionel: You're right.
King George *opens door*: Get out there now!
Lionel walks out, kisses Myrtle: Hello Myrtle, darling. You're early. I believe you two have met, but I don't think you know - King George the Sixth.
King George *holds out hand*: It's very nice to meet you.
Myrtle shakes it, without words, not understanding, completely taken back in surprise
Myrtle: Will their Majesties be staying for dinner?

E-e-e-picness.

"I don't believe you know..." Lionel says. BUT THEY DO. They are LIZZY AND DARCY!!! They are REUNITED!!! *Naomi does a happy dance*

Weddings Galore!

I love weddings, don't you? It's always such a happy, pretty, romantic occasion. I myself, of course, being not sixteen, know my own wedding is far to go yet, (I said 'not sixteen' in order to sound like Lizzy Bennet - I don't mean to say that I think I will be old enough once I am sixteen.) and I'm happy that way. I want to be a young girl as long as possible!

But I do like thinking about weddings, as a lot of girls my age do. I love looking at wedding dresses and thinking 'this is how I want my future wedding dress to be like' and that sort of thing. Here's to some of my all-time favourite wedding-dresses in Period Dramas, Royalty weddings and whatnot!

Grace Kelly's wedding gown

Ahhhhhh. Let us just stop for a minute in our busy lives and swoon over this glorious, glorious wedding gown. This is probably my favourite wedding gown ever --- I love it SO much. Grace Kelly was such a stylish lady with exceptionally fine taste. Her wedding gown is not only modest, it is lacy, princessy, breath-taking and yet it has a simple side to it. I don't know how this dress manages to be so beautiful, but it is. It's just amazing. A lot of people have been inspired by this dress (including, I think the makers of Maria von Trapp's wedding gown!), and I'm sure I'm one of them.

Kate Middleton's wedding gown

Oh dear, this is just perfection, no? Look, I love this dress so much, it's even on my header. I think Kate Middleton was also inspired by Grace Kelly- her dress is rather similar! Good thing, of course, because this dress is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was and still is admiring it and that's no miracle. It is beautiful. I also love the way she wears her hair down - one does not need an elaborate hairstyle - loose hair is so pretty, especially with Kate!

Marianne Dashwood's wedding gown

Although not an absolute favourite, Marianne Dashwood's wedding dress has great personality and I love it. Lined with straw, I've heard. Very original! I love all the detail and fancy gold embroidery. And I also love how she's holding hothouse flowers. :-)

Queen Elizabeth's wedding gown

Right, I know Queen Elizabeth was in the middle of the war and couldn't be picky about a wedding dress. I know many don't *love* this dress. But I don't care. I love it. I love the flowery lace and the bead-ery and the girlish design. But best of all, I love the way they look at each other. It's so obvious she and Philip were/are greatly in love. This couple is probably my favourite celebrity couple.

Sophie Hutton's wedding gown

Sophie Hutton and Dr Harrison's wedding is just the cutest! Her precious wedding dress so graciously offered by Miss Mattie looks stunning on the Sophie! Absolutely beautiful. I also really love the puffed sleeves and the LACE. I'm a bit addicted to lace at present. And the yellow ribbon around the waist is darling.

Colleen's wedding gown

Do you remember when I said that elaborate hairstyles weren't needed? Well, I take that back now. I've just been looking for some more Period Drama weddings and I've seen this one of a certain Colleen in 'Dr Quinn Medicine Woman'. And her hair looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL. And so does the veil and the frilly dress, of course, but the HAIR. Love.

Cosette's wedding gown

What I love about Cosette's wedding dress is that it's not white. I mean, I love white dresses, but it's nice to have very light rosy pink for a change. So I love this colour - and, of course, the puffs.

What's-her-name's wedding gown

This wedding dress is a great favourite of mine! It appears in a Little House on the Prairie episode, on I-can't-remember-who (not a very important character). I remember when watching it, loving this dress immediately. I love the ribbon and the old-fashioned-ness... and the lace.

Mary Ingalls' wedding gown

This leads us to my next! Mary Ingalls' sweet baby blue wedding gown is simple, but beautiful!

Diana Spencer's wedding gown

All right, I'll admit it. I love this dress. I know it's supposed to be too puffy and too overwhelming and too big... but I love it. Besides, no list is complete without Diana Spencer's famous dress. This dress is amazing.
Diana's wedding dress was a puff ball meringue wedding dress, with huge puffed sleeves and a frilly neckline. The dress was made of silk taffeta, decorated with lace, hand embroidery, sequins, and 10,000 pearls. It was designed by Elizabeth and David Emanuel, and had a 25-foot train.
Yes. A 25-foot train. Yes. Ten-hundred pearls. I told you it was amazing.

What's your favourite wedding gown?
Is it on this list?
